When I was 8, after an argument, my parents had a mix up on who was watching me. I ended up being left home by myself. I was watching tv and found out about a series of burglaries committed by a gang called the wet bandits. They would break in while no one was home and flood the sink after their burgle. I took it upon myself to protect the house from the group of bandits. I stole money from my brothers piggy bank for supplies. Then I set up a series of traps around the house, like watering the steps, nails in the welcome mat and paint cans on ropes at the top of the stairs. It was an exciting night of mischief and when my parents returned home, they had a slight suspicion that I assisted with the police in apprehending the dry looters.
As a young child, while on a walk in the woods with my parents, a stray bullet from an unseen source, nearly caught me.
I have been to Churchill, Manitoba in Canada, the "Polar Bear Capital of the World".
You won't believe it, but I put up a Christmas tree in every room including all bedrooms and bathrooms!

When I went to Vietnam earlier this year, I was able to go kayaking around and under the limestone islands that sit in the water. The islands were filled with monkeys that we were able to feed.

One Christmas I deliberately gave mother-in-law the UGLIEST, "very worn" Robin's egg blue purse that I sought out in a Thrift Store - (trust me, had good cause) -Looked like it was picked up off the side of the road - I'm not even sure if a homeless person would have carried it - wrapped it ever so elegantly (as I had done for so many years) and soaked up the satisfaction of watching her open it - as she pulled it out of the Kohl's box, I said with a coy smile on my face,, "think Spring!!!!" She got my message loud and clear
